Step 01: To contemporize emails with IMAP or POP3 you have to activate this feature in your mail.com account.
  1. Click Email
  2. Settings
  3. POP3 & IMAP
  4. 04 Enable access to this account via POP3 and IMAP.
Confirm the altered settings by clicking Save and start your external email program. Step 02: Click: File -> Info -> Add an account The Outlook wizard for setting up a new account will open. Step 03: Enter an email address to add your account. Step 04: Click Advanced options and check the box for Let me set up my account manually. Step 05: Click Connect. Step 06: Choose the account type IMAP. The dialog IMAP Account Settings will open up. Step 07: Use the following settings:
  1. Incoming mail: Server imap.mail.com with port 993 and check the option This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL/TLS)
  2. Outgoing mail: Server smtp.mail.com with port 587 and the encryption method STARTTLS
Step 08: Click on Next. Step 09: Enter your password and click on Connect.
